Role Based Screen Design and Rule Management

Management screens could be designed for users with specific roles. For example, HR manager or security administrator might want to see the same data in different formats based on their requirements implied by their roles. There are some preset roles and additional roles can be created within the system.

Policies enable dynamic grouping of individuals according to their relation to the organization.

 

Strong Autonomous and Offline Operation Capabilities

Offline operation capabilities of terminals provide a fault resilient working environment. Terminals report their activities at specified intervals or whenever they have connection to the server. 

 

Value-On-Card Operation

Autonomous operation on payment is achieved by keeping the value on card. Security mechanisms are used on the cards to prevent fraud.

 

System User Management

Single system user can access both modules. Access rights can be changed for each module when needed and role of an individual may have interfering rights in both modules. High level facility manager can take reports for both cafeteria activity and daily entrance reports while a department manager can only see daily entrance reports for his department.

 

Custom Report Design

There is an extensive set of standard reports built-in. This tool enables us to create custom reports without changing the application by writing a “kpy” script. This script is guaranteed to function in the future versions of the application.

 

Web User Interface

Web based management screens are used with all the popular web browsers without making any installation on the client side. This reduces maintenance and support costs and complexity.

 

Card Life Cycle Management

Starting from physical production/personalization of the card to the delivery to the cardholder, all processes are controlled by Card Life Cycle Management module of Kampus. Integration with 3rd party card personalization service providers is also possible. Industry standard algorithms and procedures to handle required level of security for the card personalization is implemented.

 

Terminal Management

Depending on the working environment and required functionality a wide range of terminals are supported by Kampus. Terminals communicate with Kampus over a standard interface protocol providing an abstraction layer to system manager from terminal specifics.
